Start with a New Vision Hear our Keynote Speaker, Dr. Scott Poland, an internationally recognized expert on school safety, bullying and school crisis intervention to list a few. Dr. Poland’s presentation, “Educators Making a Difference for Students in a Challenging World,” will help you develop and enhance your knowledge and understanding of the serious risk factors for students. All students need to feel a connection to school and to have a significant relationship with one or more adults. Dr. Poland will outline factors that are essential for student success and resiliency.
The afternoon Featured Speaker is Dr. Frances Stetson, a leader in supporting systems change in schools. Her presentation, “Culturally Responsive Instruction: Techniques and Tools,” will guide you in locating yourself on the cultural proficiency continuum. Specific ways to build authentic relationships with every student are skills she will offer to teachers.

Cost for conference registration/annual membership fee is $99 per person for the EARLY BIRD (through February 1) and $125 beginning February 2. Students currently enrolled in a college or Educator Certification Program can register for $50.
